how much amount an employer pay as HRA to his/her employees?
is there any limit?

There is no limit as such however, exempt HRA needs to be calculated and bring balance amount to tax while calculating the taxability of your employee. Accordingly same will be reflected in form 16.

Normally 40% of basic salary + DA
