How the HRA exeption will be calculated for below case.
1.Rent Paid=15550/- Pm
2.Electricity Paid=225/- Pm
3.Water Paid =75/-Pm
4.Muncipality Tax = 55/-Pm
will i get exemption only on rent paid , or for Rs-15905/-

For the purposes of HRA only Rs. 15,550/- will be considered..

Rule 2A prescribes the quantum of exemption available u/s.10(13A), which the least of
1. Actual allowance received
2. Rent paid in excess of 10% of salary
3.50% of salary for metros / 40% for other cities
GSTR 9 and 9C for FY 23-24 as amended by Notification 12/2024 dated 10th July 2024(with recording)
