Yes, because city is Mumbai and mumbai is metro city then 50% exemption will be considered.

In respect of HRA
An amount of equal to 50% of salary, where the residential house is situated at mumbai/Bombay

But thane is non metro where the salaried employee stay and acordingly company is giving only 40%. Please help.
