Hi,
Yes, the deduction for HRA will be available as the basic condition for claiming HRA is being satisfied i.e. must stay in rested house, pay rent and obtain rent receipt. Even husband can claim HRA deduction if staying in a house owned by wife. Provided rent collected should be reflected as income in the return to justify the claim.

its better if a rent agreement is signed and notarized between the parties.bottom line is that the transaction should be genuine.

Yes you can claim HRA deduction but you must full fill all condition
