25 August 2019A Contractor have Business (Bussines Profit is Rs 355000) And salary income. Salary is just 1.5 Lakh yearly . Can he claim House Rent under 80GG. Rent is Rs 8000.

Yes, but maximum limit is Rs. 5000/- PM. (other conditions to be complied as per sec, 80GG)

Yes, chapter VI deductions (80C, 80D, 80TTA etc....) are allowed even for presumptive income assessment.
Moreover he has salary income!!!
