25 July 2018The bank entered a Rental Agreement with the house owner for accomodating its employee and it pays Rs. 6000 monthly to the owner and also the Employee pays Rs. 1500 extra to the owner. So the total rent is rs. 7500.
Whether the employee can claim any HRA? or he can claim under 80GG for the portion of rent paid by him?
But in the Form 16 provided by the employee there is nothing stated regarding the rental paymnet.

Thank you for the reply sir. Whether the 6000 paid by employer will be treated as perquisite? if so why they didnt show it in Form 16?
