Can anyone let me know If rent is paid for 12months in a particular financial year and actual HRA received is for 10 months, then deduction is available for how many months
Plz give some solid base for the support of your answer

deduction is available only for 10 months. the exemption limit u/s 10 of HRA depends on place, rent paid, HRA received. if any of the said factor change then calculation will be made separately. that's make computation first for 10 months and there is no need to calculate for remaining two months as no HRA received-noexemption.
