ya can claim , condition is that his location of job and location of home shud not be in same city

Yes i agree with Mr. Pramod Jain. You can claim both deduction but your location of job & location of home shuld be at different place.....i.e. say you are working in Gurgaon but your permanent address is at Mumbai....where you purchased/constrauct a flat by taking a loan from bank but as ur office loaction at gurgaon so you take a home on rent at gurgaon ,,,then in that case you can claim both deduction ie. HRA As well as House Loan deduction............. Hope u have no doubts..........

rent receipt for the rent payment and bank certificate for interest and pricipal paid for the particular fy.
