How was the paper today

How the marks are distributed among Receipt & Payment, Balance sheet and Notes written in the question?

very easy , seriously , not even a single question which was exceptionally difficult 

but it was lenghty and i just managed to finish in time  :P

the first and the last question (20+16 marks ) were so so easy , just basic theroy and AS so passing was not at ol difficult in this exam

many students will difinatly get 90+

i have a doubt....in the question of internal reconstrution where we are asked to convert 50 rs shares to 40 if we convert the amount and donnot reduce the capital and clearly mention it in the assumption that it is assumed that it is converted into 40 rs shares...then will it be a problem??

u dont hav to make assumption prem..u hav to show the effect of it....as it is already mentioned there to reduce the capital.......

DISAPPOINTED THAT NO QUESTION WAS ASKED FROM CASHFLOW STATEMENTS, ADMISSION, RET OR DEATH OF PARTNERSHIP. NOT TOUGH. BUT, TIME CONSUMING. THEORY QUESTIONS ARE GOOD.

what was mentioned was dat 50 rs shares were CONVERTED into 40 rs shares...the missing of the word reduction in capital was what caused me to conversion... nd hence the use of assumption

paper was easy and almost all questions were solved atleast once before...but the adjustments guven were more and hence it was time consuming...:).
