How was the accounts question paper of final today..?? Was it very tough or average...?? How the institute has responded in terms of difficulty of the paper by removing the options.

mere ek dost ne bataya ke khatarnaak aaya tha , one of AS-11 question was very tough and amalagamation question was also very tough, anyway lets see and pray for them

People are saying that the paper was tough, Amalgamation was complete googly, amendments in respect to companies acount 2009 were asked. Let someone who appeared comment, so that everyone gets the clarity.

hey i wrote the paper today....
Q1: AS-21-question on consolidation with b/s dates of subsidiaries different...similar to a question i had worked out...but 1 or 2 adjustments were bouncers..
Q2:could not understand head or tail of amalgamation question didnt even bother readin it fully(waste of time!!!)
Q3:absolute rubbish question on Biz valuation(this was there in study material n now am kickin myself)..also included a part on mutual fund which was ok...
q4: expected question on amendment...of as-11 and a ques on fair value assets(as-15)
q5: okay...fund accounts and as-19
q6:easy...on as13,as4,as5......
im hopin for 40-45 or 45-50....

i scored 191/ 400 in Jun-09 in first group. and nine marks was short in audit.
i am really pending for the that 9 marks,. it is pinching me very mush. and today's paper ..........
what should isay now.

I too, heard from my friend that Amalgamation was bouncer and few adjustments of CFS were bouncer.........ONCE AGAIN A/Cs PAPER IS TOUGH!!

total marks for questions 1, 2 & 3 was 59 & for 4,5,6 only 31. hopin to pass!

The following problems were asked from M.P.Vijaykumar's book on financial reporting
Non Profit Organisation - Development fund accounting (minor modifications)
Valuation - Valuation of business - PERatio model (minor modifications)
Amalgamation - ????? God knows where they picked up such an excellent problem.
But on an overall basis, very very tough.
