how was SFM/MAFA paper today?

Paper was very tough for me.

Mafa (Old) was very very tough. Portfolio Q. was from new course and the theory and swap Q. was never heard of.  In short ICAI wants to convert old course to the new.

aaj ka ek bhi question scanner se nahi aaya

naa hi us pattern ka aaya. pata nahi kaha se banaya hai paper.........................

all questions compulsory karne ke baad bhi pata nahi practicle subject mai bhi theory kyon dete hai.....

portfolio ka 1 bhi question nahi aaya.........

tatally bekar paper thaaaaaaaaaaa.

icai sucks......

i m frm new scheme......my sfm paper was horrible

not a single question from past paper.....

EVA ques first tym askd...

and last question was just blind........huh

really i dnt know wht to do...

i think new syllabus was too easy .

SFM paper no questions from past papers or scanners....Huh?.. what a pathetic attitude.... ! U  mug up and go to exams is it...It was an average paper..

SFM NEW SYLLABUS.

It was a typical paper which no one in world can imagine with no questions on portfolio,only 5 marks from  derivatives(lollipop question)  and just 8 marks from forex(extremely difficult).Believe me students devote 80% time in these 3 chapters and just 13 marks in 80% time !!!

Parth,better try this paper and just see how much you can score.

Monica the sum from Mutual Funds was from the study mat and the Cap Budg sum was from past year.

BE READY FOR HUGE MARKS FROM PORTFOLIO,DERIVATIVES AND FOREX IN NOVEMBER 2010.

Got heart attack after getting OLD Q- Paper !

Old Paper was very very tough ....... I i dont know how can institue discriminate between students of new and old course ??? the toughness level should be same in both cases but today new paper was easy and old was herculian ........

I found  yield to maturity for the 4 cases in question 5 (a). I think thats right...

Hey, New Syllabi - SFM Paper

it is not so good compared to earlier attempts yaar.

Its not a lengthy one, but more wague to answer, i agreeing with ROHIT, we spent lot of time on Portfolio, International Financial management, Derivatives (compared to morethan half of syllabi) but only around 13 marks has come.

The rest of the paper is also not straight forward questions, all are tricky only. I had just tried all questions, but dont know whether its right or not.

Confidence level totally scattered in this paper
