How to write theory paper like law and audit

If the question asked in a case study.. then write in paragraphs. Explain the facts of the case, then write the provision that applies, then link the facts of the case with the provision and at last, write the conclusion. Don't forget to quote section numbers if you remember.

If the question relates to any procedures, etc .in which points can be written..write point wise. For 4 marks question.. 6 to 8 points are sufficient. But, it depends on the number of relevant points. Sometimes, in a 4 marks question, only 4 points are available. So, you can't write extra points unnecessarily. In that case, elaborate each point in a few lines. Same way, you can answer 5-8 marks question.
But, never fill pages to enhance your answer. It will not help you.
