There is no hard and fast rule about how to write an answer. You need to stick to basics. The answers must be to the point and logical. No need to unnecessarily drag answers as one does in graduation/junior college.
Refer suggested answers and examiner's comments provided at the end of suggested answeres. It might be of help.
Good luck

Hi snehal...
In audit subject icai want expertise from the candidates as it is the core subjct of ca..
you should write your answer's in points i.e not paragraphs...
use Audit standard words i.e your language must not be like a layman
in case of ques from SA always write the full name of that SA and No. tooo
All the very best

It would be better to write the SA no and name. Do it carefully and only if you are hundred percent sure otherwise it will fall back on you like a boomerang. What matters really is the content of your answers. And as rightly said by Ankur, your answers should not be like that of a layman. It has to be professional

Go through suggested answers and practical manual for presentation frnd..
write sa no if u are sure about it..
link this sa to ur answers so tat it says examiner about ur efforts..
example if question asked about audit working paper
mention that as per SA230 "audit documentation" and start writing the answer which will one side help u to recollect the points u read.. in that itself if u come accross points which must be in accordance with some other sa no.. u mention that if u remember frnd..
example in working paper additional purpose- it helps in assisting members of engagement team responsible for supervision to direct and supervise audit work and discharge review responsibilities in accordance with SA220.
like this way i said frnd..
don worry.. worrying wont fetch u marks.. try this time frnd u ll surely get exemption
i dint prepare properly for auditing, i go through sa and jus read practical manual..
on the day of exam due to high fever i was unable to write that i wrote only for one and half hrs..
but i hav scored 58 in that which was really surprising for me..
tat time i understood that i use to link sa to answers which would hav helped me score this..
anyway aggregate fail so no use..
this time ll get through by god grace..
all the best
