18 July 2011How to verity the income tax PAN detail online. i am applying for DIN to register company. there is mandatory requirement that all details is as per PAN card. but client is unable to find the letter sended with PAN Card.
now how can i get address detail as per PAN Card
I am waiting for ur valuable suggestion

Log on to www.incometaxindia.gov.in and click on PAN STATUS option and enter the desired PAN No.

I am not very sure but according to me the income tax department doest not maintain data regarding the details of adress its assessee.. they follow the adress of the on the returns that are filed...
i am saying this as the nsdl office told me this ..the data uploaded by the nsdl to income tax contains only the AO code not the specific address...
follow the adress that you wud be filling up in your income tax returns...thats the only way out .if u cannot find the papers...
you can try to verify this at the local nsdl office..

firstly DIN is not for registering a company but director(s). In case the Director is unable to find the PAN card, he must be knowing the his PAN. In that case you can insert the PAN.

JUST FOLLOWS THESE STEPS- THIS WILL 100% SOLVE UR QUERY
GO TO HE SITE- WWW. INCOMETAXINDIAEFILING.GOV.IN
THEN GO TO THE REGISTER(DOWN TO THE LOGIN OPTION ON RIGHT HAND SITE) OPTION & MAKE ON LINE ACCOUNT OF THE CLIENT.
AFTER REGISTERING U WILL RECEIVE AN EMAIL FOR ACTIVATING THE ON LINE ACCOUNT OF UR CLIENT.
JUST ACTIVATE THE ONLINE ACCOUNT OF UR CLIENT.
AFTER THIS LOGIN IN THE ABOVE MENTIONED SITE AND AFTER LOGIN U WILL SEE ON THE TOP OF THE SITE "MY ACCOUNT LINK". ON MY ACCOUNT LINK SELECT -"VIEW TAX CREDIT STATEMENT 26AS."
JUST CLICK ON THAT AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS OF THE SITE. AFTER OPENING THE FOR 26 AS FOLLOW THE FOLLOWING PROCEDURE-

26AS ALSO display
Address of A PAN. By default this
link is hide. With the help of (+) or
(-) button, address of a PAN can be
checked
as shown in black circle in picture IN THE ATTACHMENT FILE.

this link only gives Pan No. and not provide other detail like address

"i am applying for DIN to register company" means.......... To register compnay DIN is mandatory and for that i am applying for DIN and not applying for company

Dear Minu Sharma
Any individual who is a director or intends to become a director of a company should apply for DIN. All the directors of a company must obtain DIN.
DIN application is to be supported by identity proof of any of the following viz. PAN card, Driving License, Passport, Voter ID Card, Ration card, Electricity Bill, Bank Statement.
DIN application is also to be supported with proof of residence of the applicant director which can be any one of the following viz. Passport, Voter Id Card, Ration card, Driving license, Electricity Bill,Telephone Bill and Bank Statement.
DIN is mandatory for e-filing of forms and documents and PAN cannot be used as an alternative to DIN.
DIN is mandatory for directors of Indian companies who are not citizens of India. DIN is not mandatory for directors of foreign company having branch offices in India.
Only a single DIN is required for an individual, irrespective of number of directorship held by him/her. All the directorships of an individual would be mapped in the database through that DIN.
So Address as per PAN is Not REQUIRED , you can even give your address proof document which are mentioned above.
