How to Tally Import from Excel

How do we import data from excel to tally? Is possible to import data in Tally without any TDL and XML generator utility. Please provide suitable explanation.

How to import Masters and Transactions in Tally -

  1. Press Alt+O (Import) / Go to Import Option
  2. Select Masters / Voucher Option
  3. Select the Path of XML file
  4. Enter the File Name
  5. Press OK to Import
