For I.T go for Compilaton (Nearly 20-25 Marks )
For S.M go for Padhuka
never go for padhuka for IT
it is too lengthy and will only confuse u
so for IT u need to have basic knowledge thats enough and write what u remember and elaborate that

For SM learn studymat each n every word
and for IT Dinesh madan dont dare touch studymat for that
i really dont understand why students refer other books for a subject like IT and SM.......I think study material is good for this subject.......atleast SM part is very good..if u just go through it once i think its very interesting subject .....and it has been properly explained also.......provided u have good understanding ability.......i have seen many other books for SM but i truely feel they dont cover everything ......i think its better to read everything from the study material atleast for SM....Students fear the case study that actually comes in the papers for around 10 marks....i think marks can be scored in this part if u can interpret the situation well .......As far as IT is concerned i think all the chapters can be studied from study material ....only the Chapter on flowcharting and decision table is not given properly......that i truely agree with.................Study material is the base......dont leave any topic ......u may refer any other book but make sure the topics have not been left out..................but i truly feel that its better to read the study material because thats complete and reliable......................

dear friend for it do chapters like networking, internet, dbms.it,s criteria about 30 or more marks in exam and the question is how u will have to go minimum 5 times reading over these chapters.this is enough to create grip over these chapters.for stg mgmt. do firstly first 4 chapters and then chapter 7th.first 4 chapter criteria around 30 to 35 marks and 10 marks for 7th chapter.
best of luck
thanks & regards
