What is the right way to show income from equities and Mutual Funds if filing returns under section 44 ADA for Income Tax Returns ?

If any short term CG...... file ITR 3 and declare the gains under Schedule CG.
If only LTCG, which is exempted, can be declared under Schedule EI.
