Many of us was not answering the correct answer to the given question in the paper. That was main drawback in the ISCA subject. It is better to read the suggested answers and u will  know what we written in the exam...

I have one small suggestion. Instead of you planning to do DISA, I suggest you to go for CISA-Certified Information Systems Auditor, which has a global-wide recognition and is an objective type examination.

I think you should take classes from Vikram Kapoor sir (9818088958)... His batch is starting from 25th July also. And he is also CISA + DISA + CIA. And even you dont want to take classes, you can contact him for guidance.

Read Dinesh madan's book. .it wil generate interest in the subject.

Dont waste your time. switch to manish valechha ISCA book -Memory based edition.

Hey Friend I too faced the same prob with isca..may11 was my second attempt...but managed to clear isca this time...expected 60+ but got 48 which was almost the double that i got in nov...:) First thing to do is develop a liking towards this paper(might be difficult...but still...u can do it...) Make notes for ur future revisions especially for revisions the day b4 Xam.... Prepare some codes so that u can remember atleast 7 out of 10 points... I may not be the expert u r looking for to answer this query...:)but still i guess few tips may be useful for you... Regards Anil

I don't know if everybody can but a friend of mine scored arnd 70 mks in ISCA after reading jst Dinesh Madan's Class notes...M too reading those notes, they r really easy to understand nd learn...may be once our concepts are clear and we starts liking ISCA den we can even study from Study Module or any other text book for that matter..I got them photostated from a friend register who took classes from DM...Altho no offence bt I find taking class for ISCA totally useless...jst try to  read those class notes nd U'll urself find it very helpfull...Also these notes r not available in the mkt...u'll hv to find a frnd who is taking class frm DM nd gets its register copied..

go for practice manual from institute

You should go by the latest module issued by the ICAI.It has made very minor changes in the chapter which you generaly miss while preparing and write the all old things which are not necessary.You are a student of CA Final it is expected that you can do atleast 10 chapters from any book.Its very easy especially institute expects the answers in the format it gives you in modules,suggested answers,practice manuals.All the Best
