aw is really a dry subject and you have to get self motivated to read it. The syllabus mostly consists of Companies act from section 122 to 495 and almost 60% paper is asked from companies.

Talking about the preparation, a student can go for self preparation or can refer a tutor. Most of the students of final do not go for classes because of lack of time. However you can surely refer any teacher or coaching class if you are finding difficulty in paper.

Following are some of the tips which can help you in self preparation of the paper-

  • Institute’s materials are the best. Do not go for multiple books as this will create confusion. You can also go for books of some other authors but I won’t suggest this. Exams are taken by ICAI, evaluation is done on the basic of ICAI’s suggested answers so your preparation should also be done be ICAI’s materials.
  • Start your preparation from the Company law. Company law in final consists of 60% of paper.
  • Cover as much as possible and revise as much as possible. Generally, 3-4 revision of the subject is sufficient. However if the student is not able to revise the entire syllabus in 20 hours then more revision is required because he/she will have to revise the whole syllabus a day before exams within same time.
  • Keep yourself updated with amendments. Direct questions are expected from here.
  • Do not skip Mock test papers and revision test papers. Sometimes direct questions are asked from them. They are very important if you are lacking the presentation skills. They also help you to acquaint yourself with the type and pattern of the questions. I would recommend Prepca test series to each and every CA aspirant. Quick evaluation, question and evaluation as per ICAI’s norms, great customer care support, affordable price and most importantly the surety that you will clear the exam because if you don’t clear the exam, they will refund 100% money back.
  • Always practice to write your answer in proper format. The format is same of IPCC law.
  • Try to attempt maximum questions in exams. The more you write the answers, the more you will have chances to score in exam.
  • Try to write in legal language.

Have faith in yourself and start preparing
