I have completed my classes of Financial Reporting with old Schedule IV
Now Because of Revised Sch IV there is a lots of changes in the chapter Amalgamation,Holding etc.Which r d major chapters and more weightage is given to these chapters
So can u plz tell be about the way to study for the Revised Sch IV
is there any need to join the classes again for Financial Reporting

I don't think so that you need to join any classes further.

Thanks gaurav it will help me a lot .
But how to solve d problem of amalgamation, holding etc?
In nov exam institute will definately ask a question on that . As institute is asking practical questions and not theory.
For problems i think we should have some practice of question answer

Hi Anuradha,
There is no change in accounting for Amalgmation and Holding, there is only format change for Schedule VI, so if you will go thru Guidance Note tht will give u enough ideaa bout revised sch VI.
In Consolidation there is one additional thing that you should keep in mind and wch is not there in guidance note as well Minority Interest will appear after Shareholders Fund and before non current liabilities.
