How to manage time effectively

1. Make a random list of tasks – Make a random list of tasks. You should observe your list of tasks at the starting of your day.

2. Difference between urgent and important - Set priorities for each task. Think what is important and need to be done by today.

3. Decide upon the time of day - Decide what time of the day is suitable for you. Some people are more productive in the morning than the evening.

4. Schedule time for your tasks – Remeber you have just 24 hours a day. So make full use of each hour. Try to recognize when do you waste your time. It could be anything like waking up late, sleeping late, thinking about problems too much instead of solving them.

5.Keep track of your progress - Occasionally analyze your time spent on important tasks and unimportant tasks.

6. Put your efforts to solve – Aim to do the important things first. Remember the 80-20 rule: 80 percent of reward comes from 20 percent of effort. So focus on 20 percent.
