Should an existing service tax(only) assessee with taxable income over 10 lacs but below 20 lacs register under GST? How does he get out of GST..because his income is below exemption limit? are there some forms to fill out or is this an automatic process?

This is provisional enrolment, which you may not enrol now, or even need not confirm for final registration when GST is implemented.
registration is mandatory for all registered person under any law. if want to exit then reg24 will be filled after GST in force
