How to gain COnfidence ?

As per my opinion, Pattabi Ram's book is good in concepts. It is enough for you to get strong hold of concepts. FOr sums, u work it out from the separate workbook for SFM authored by Pattabi Ram and SD Bala coupled with probs from Compilations. Else, Use AN Sridhar for both concepts and probs along with Compilations. Regarding Padhukas, for concepts u cant use it as it is prepared purely in a formula oriented way. But u can work out the probs asked from it as it covers all ICAI material probs, past exam probs as well as past RTP probs. However, it contains some typing errors here and there.

ya pattabhi ram and sd bala is the best to get hold on the concepts of SFM.. First learn from that book and then try solving the compilations.

I have just given CA final by self study...preferred sd bala & ram & Compilation both  bt lot of mistakes in solution part, 2 much difference in methods used in compilation & Bala & Ram.... i think jst clear concepts  4m bala & use compilation 4 problems..theory part is also gud in padhuka...
