How to File NIL Return of GSTR-1

Dear User

First you check Form 3B. (Only Status Filed ) allow to Generate GSTR1 Summary process. No one can problem appear if you filed 3B and Status indicates "Filed"

Other Option Fill Payment and Voucher serial no.and try to generate GSTR1

It is not verified but you can file to enter a single 0 Rate 0 Value Invoce in to B to C Section. After You can file nil return GSTR 1.

While filing GSTR1 Nil Return , In 7th column i.e B2C (Others) you need to add one invoice having all values zero, Save it & Then Go to the 13th column i.e Document Issued , here also you have to add one document having all values zero , Save it .

Now Submit the form

 You can save data GSTR 1 other details on return dashboard, here only you have to save the 8A, 8B, 8C, 8D Nil rated supply as per nil return. After you can able to submit the return. That solve.

 Tried filling 8A, 8B, 8C, 8D Nil  + In 7th column i.e B2C (Others) added the nil value. Still no success please help it says wait for 1 minute and nothing is happening.

i have try to file nil return for gstr 1 for august month  but not filed its told

 Error! GSTR-1 Save/Action on Counterparty Invoices/Submit are not allowed for current date, Please visit https://www.gst.gov.in for details on GSTR-1 timelines

please inform me how to file for the month of august -17

Kindly generate the summary & wait for 1 minute to generate it, after you can submit the GSTR1. On last moment you can't generate the summary because website not working at same time. Request to all kindly upload return before due date.
