Can anyone help me to enter the pan over the phone..They ask for the first 4 letters of PAN ..and what do you enter for letter P?? I entered 16 and it says error..!my PAN starts with ADEP and I entered 14516 followed by date of birth and it says error..!

In pan card number.....
1) Fourth Character is the status of pan card holder...i.e P= Individual, A=Association of Person, T=Trust, C=Company. etc.
2) Fifth charactor is first letter of Surname of individual, or name of company, trust etc.
