Could any body tell me how can we cancel a eway bill after validity expiration of eway bill

The recipient can cancel the e-way bill within 72 hours of generation of e way bill. Ask the recipient to cancel the e-way bill.

Also communicate the same to your jurisdictional officer with reasons.
