ITR 293 views 4 replies

Dear Sir

My I.Tax refund was failed as Bank account shown in ITR returns was closed after filing returns.

I received email to submit refund reissue request, but there is no option to add new bank account in request, they show old account and I have to select it and submit request.

How to add new account in refund reissue request, please help, if anyone knows?

Thanks

Manoj Punjabi

Login in the Income Tax e-Filing website and go to 'My Account' → 'Refund Re-issue request'. Select the mode of re-receiving the refund: ECS or Cheque, Provide the Bank Account number (if changed) and Provide Address details.
Login to eFiling site and then go to Profile button. Under that use prevalidate button. The window will provide you add/delete bank details and validate bank account.

Once it's validated, then use refund re-reissue request and submit.

Try out . 👍

Dear Kapadia Pravin

Account added successfully by this procedure and refund re-issue request submitted successfully.

Thank your for guidance.
