I think you want to insert a text string in a single cell in multiple lines .
1.for this select the cell.
2.open the cell format box (ctrl+1 or right click & select Format cell)
3.select alignment Tab
4.select wrap text
5.click OK

Dear Satya,
R u asking how to enter data in paragraphs..?
If so its known as wrap texting. Right click the cell u want to apply the format, go to Format cells --> Alignment --> Check wrap text (Alt + w).
Alternatively while typing press alt + enter to come to the next line in the same sentence.
To bring down the box use alt + down arrow. In excel there is an option known as data validation in which entered data can be brought down like a boz. But in data validation excel won't allow any other data other than specfied data to be entered. If u want kow about that let me know.
I really admire this, I mean it really looks interesting! I'm actually glad to see all this stuff...

Dear Satya
I think you have some data in multiple cell and now you want to put all data in one cell, for this you can use the function 'CONCATENATE'
The CONCATENATE function joins up to 255 text strings into one text string. The joined items can be text, numbers, cell references, or a combination of those items. For example, if your worksheet contains a person's first name in cell A1 and the person's last name in cell B1, you can combine the two values in another cell by using the following formula:
=CONCATENATE(A1," ",B1)
Hope this will help you
