How to Account for Bonus in the form of Non Convertible Debentures in Tally

Hi

I was holding Britannia shares & recently the company has announced bonus in the form of non convertible debuntures (NCD) @ face value Rs 29/- each.

How do I account this is Tally for accounting? Given that no cost incured from my hand.

Thanks for the reference link.  I think my scenario is little different as the bonus is not in the form of shares, for the shares I hold i have received bonus non convertible debentures from the company.

Sry then create an account under current or non current assets account as per the maturity. Then create interest income under indirect income head. Start recording.
