i just wanted to confirm, that how many attempts allowed to clear the pcc exam.

UNLIMITED
there is no bar on number of attempts as per current rules .
but as per earlier announcement november 2012 will be last attempt of pcc and you will have to convert for ipcc after that
Unlimited attempts!!!
