I think the paper was ok.
I found it quite difficult, specially the question on Capital budgeting

Man how can they give 5 parts to a 6 marks question.
Hell The easiest question on Portfolio Management Took good 20 minutes. All for 6 marks..Institue should wake up and ask someone to solve paper before they publish it.
Paper was easy !!! No second thoughts.
Point is: ICAI should focus on quality of exams. Every CBSE paper is published only after teacher estimate if it can be completed in 2.30 Hours or not. I am marking a mail to President and Sundry.At times paper is a copy paste of last 10 attempts and at times it is difficult like hell. CFA-US design paper in such a way that the difficulty levels are kep at the same level.
MAFA is never a War. Its a sweet revenge --:-))

paper was damn lenghty..i left 22 marks in that paper though i knew the questions..really ashamed of myself..dont know now whether i will get 40??

Its a sweet revenge --:-)) If u see Mr. Rajesh makkar sir's notes the questions on the Merger and Factoring are same as in the work book straight lift from the work book. And other questions on Mutual fund and dividend were also similer to past questions. Except 1st question and theory questions one can easily do well. |
