Hi,
U can checkout the full name of the assessee with the help of PAN on the following link
https://onlineservices.tin.nsdl.com/etaxnew/tdsnontds.jsp
Then select challan 280. Fill in the PAN and other details u can fill anything, later click on proceed. Once u click proceed, full name of the assessee will be displayed for confirmation.

You just send me the PAN No., I can tell you the name of the PAN holder. But, please after 20/05/2011 only.

Can u find Name with PAN in www.aces.gov.in (Official Indirect Tax site)
But unfortunately this service this trick not availble now...!!!!!!!!
We have only option that e-tax payment system.....!!!!!!!
We can also find name as per TAN etc...!!!!!!!!!!!
