If any mismatch found, it is forwarded to ITO for manual verification.

thank you. Can CPC verify foreign tax credits, like they have that information even with different currencies?

They have their own sources like data exchange with different countries., in case they require to verify the documents/challans/details you have submitted with ITR/ on query.
GSTR 9 and 9C for FY 23-24 as amended by Notification 12/2024 dated 10th July 2024(with recording)
