I have declared rent in my company and they didn't consider my declarations(savings) due to resignation. So i am declaring all savings during efilling but i couldn't found RENT field. Where i have to mention my RENT payment in ITR-1 form. I paid 96000 during AY-15-16.

1. If you have recieved any HRA(House Rent Allowance), then reduce the amount of exempted HRA {U/s 10(13A) & Rule 2A }from Salary and write the net amount after exemption in "Income from Salary".
2. If you do not recieve any HRA from your employer, then you can claim deduction under 80GG.
Note : You cannot fill ITR-1, if you have agricultural income of more than Rs. 5000/-. You will need to fill ITR-2 or ITR-2A.
