Kindly explain this situation -
An assessee receives HRA from his company and working in Mumbai.
Assessee resides in Mumbai in a PG and he has also a rented House in his name where his family resides.
While submitting documents for claiming HRA, he provides Rent Slip of his Delhi House.
My question is whether he is eligible to claim HRA against Rent Receipt of Delhi House ?????

If he is working in Mumbai he is staying in Mumbai. Claiming HRA on Rent Slip of Delhi is not possible.
