hi can i avail house property loss from salary?

what if i rented only half house other half one used for self occupation?

Yes, HP Loss can be set-off against Salary Income. It does not make difference whether half of the house is self occupied or not.

yes u can avail the loss even the same is not rented

u can avail the ded of intt payment of H/Loan
