reconstruction means 100% construction ...while renovation means reconstruction Partly not entirely
Reconstruction takes place from the foundation i.e building brought down for reconstructing.
Renovation is repairment/replacement of old items to bring them to a good state. eg.re-painting the house,polishing tiles etc
