a client own a house bt he live in rented flat... he has gvn his house on rent... hw shud i gv treatment fr his house as self occupied or as let out..??? he own nly 1 house

Hi Vineeta,

i think that house should be treated as letout property

 

you should treat as Income from House Property, where he gets Standard deduction u/s 24(a)
