It cant be wrong to the most case, as your dedication to sit for that amount of hours to study is a welcoming one. but it can be made even more effective. My suggestion is not to get discouraged at the beginning, as it usually creates only adverse varince right now from what has been described as standard. but u have enough time to afford for this.. i advise u can keep goin.. over a period of time u will end up at ur planned hours. also jus at the end of two chpters its hard to judge about the preparation.. keep studyin other papers also.. that wil give you space to learn yourself where you are goin wrong or right..

first complete important chapters bro
study 1 pratical subject and 1 theory subject so that your interest will be sustained
first study small small chapters like investment accounting, self balancing ledgers, fire insurance accounting, internal reconstruction
the above mentioned chapters takes less time to complete
it will create feel good factor and later on start with big chapters
mind u , accounting standards is very very very important

P.C.tulsian is very good book and really good for self study as well. Don't fear with the time factorand other's plan . Because if you are conceptually clear , it won't be a big hurdle to revise the same.
And as it's your first reading so obviously I can't say that you should skip question and so on. But try to focus on lengthy and important chapters first. Because once you did them you will ensure minimum marks with great accuracy.
And it'll really reduce the stress on your side. And about the study plan ( Bhavin's plan) ..... such plans are just directives, every individual's study style, pattern and response to tough and easy topics is quite different.
Determine your strength area so that you can do them in minimum time.
