i am planning to start my articleship in a month. i have cleared the inter and doing Final in this 2013. i have few queries about it so pls do help me..
1. what is the procedure of the articleship?
2. which is the best area to enter into the articleship?
3. i live in mumbai so which are the major companies appointing the ICWA fresher final students for this?
4. what is the expected salary?
do help me asap..

Hi nittesh,
i am also going to appear for final exmaes in JUNE 2013
criteria for training
You must finish atleast 6 month of paracticale traing before appearing for both group/remaning group.
You can register your self as articale under practicing CWA
or you can apply for training exemption if you are employee.
For more details you can visit www.icwai.org. open this website and check traning scheme section where you can check institute or companies eligible for purpose of training exemption, and area of work.
If a company is having turnover of morethan 5 carore than the employee of that company working in recognize area is eligible for training exemption.
you can check institute registered for traning in traning section select your city and check the refferences. or you can furhter check it on /community/np_com_message_display.asp?np_com_group_id=8782&np_com_id=4374.

But you can check it on any Joboffering website or check ICWAI website for organisation register for traning by selecting your city name.

so i have to do minimum for 1 year before appearing in final.. hmmm

it is clearly mention in that file that "you have to get register for 1 year traning and out of period of 1 year you must have completed atleast 6 month of traning befor you appears in exames"
For E.G. if you register as a trainig in jMarch 2013 .
7 month is completed till 30th sep2013 .
it means you have completed only 6 moths of traning before appearing in Dec 2013 attempt.
You are eligible to seat in dec 2013 attempt as you have completed atleast 6 month of trainig. I hope now its clear to you.
