tax is easy subject, its just required interest n systematic prprn...
prpr notes for imp provisons and sections...
Complete Five heads & deduction in deatail and Assesment procedures...thts it if u know this much u wll get 60 above....
Don't frustrate ...just be confdnt and start from now....Time ka sahi istmal karoo

You can study from any book but shuld have interest on the subject..........Tax - concentrate on Amendments made in Finance Act 2009.........

According to me go for notes of M.K. Gupta sir, they are very easy to understand and i hope once you read them you will undrestand tax very easily. According to me prepare a sheet on which mention all the sections which are related with a particular head and then study that head, you will understand the head very easily. This is what i did. I prepared the index of sections of different heads and then learn it. And i found it easy and interesting.
