No, As per Sec. 80C tuition Fee must be paid for Full time Post graduate course, since CA course is a distance learning course & not affiliated with UGC so Fee paid for CA course not allowed.

Dear Neha, m agree with Ratan Deep. nd absolutely sure,Deducton regarding CA fees is not allowed under sec. 80c

u should notice that if u paid fees, then it is for ur registration nd u hav got study materials from the institute...........................so here is no any tuition fee, thatsy it will not be allowed as deduction. ok

Hello Neha,
Its not a fulltime course and so not eligible to claim deduction. revisionary classses are also not counted to prove it a full time course. Its a distant learning course and so not available.
But practically if u want you can do that. No one going to check it. I did it already. As there is no where written of the professional course is eligble or not. You have to do intership for 3 years and once you do CA itsnot possible to do other full time course when your articleship begins. I did it already...
So its on you to claim or not..
As per the act its not allowed but not written directly anywhere.
If anyone has it please forward it to me tooo.. It will be so kind of you..

Agree with Shivang Sir, its upon u to claim or not as there is no any direct clearification regarding course, bt according to act it cannot be allowed.
