pls ........... give me advises. Exams are coming soon. How can i prepare for CWA inter stage - 1. Getting nervous. Where i start? What are the major topics in FA, Law and tax. plsssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss seniors help me. plsssssss

In professional exams all topics are important. Particularly in CWA, you will have objective/fill in blank type questions for around 10 marks. And many short questions will be asked covering the whole syllabus. It is not wise to study only the selected topics. Try to cover atleast the problems and bits given in study material and then refer RTP given in cwa website. Usually chances are there that questions are asked from these sources.

There are no shortcuts in professional examination. If you decide to take shortcuts, then you know the results. This may sound rough and crude but it is fact.

Inspite of the data regarding your course coverage till date , it is not correct to advise., how ever the time left is sufficient to cover the whole course atleast once. I am also preparing for ICWA inter DEC-11

thq to all.Actually i m not asking any shortcuts for the exam. I m just asking that where to start the syllubus and which lesson give me encourage and which lesson z best to prepoare first. Anyway thanks to all. Also al the best Yasaswee for ur exams

Better go for Costing or Tax...they are rather easy to solve out.....something to give u a feed back interest..

Hi Shweta,

Tax papers in Intermediate should be prepared early and timely other wise at end you will face tensions.

so be prepared for Tax regularly.

Also please refer to the updated Study material and Compendiums in below link.

you can take the Suggested Answers/Scanner as the base for Prioritising once you cover the topics in Study material.

please do practice from Compendium and Suggested answers.

THE BASICS OF STUDY

I would strongly suggest you all to stick to the basics of study to avoid further failure and ensure success. For me some basics of study are as follows:

In CS and CA exams scanner plays an imp role so take reference and base your study on scanner.

1. Timely completion of course material—Very first basic thing is to finish your course to have better idea of course structure. This will also help you to prepare a good revision schedule along with study plan.

2. Timely revision-- Another basic study point is to give ample emphasis to a good revision plan. There is nothing is this world which can substitute a good revision plan. To succeed revision is must.

3. Ample amount of practice of Numerical [account and cost] questions-- One major reason of student failure is bad performance in practical questions. So ample amount of practice of Numerical [account and cost] questions is must along with perfect conceptual clarity.

4. Right amount of theory preparation in practical subjects—Most of the students don’t give due value to the theory in the practical subject. So right amount of theory preparation in practical subjects is equally important. The best way to solve this issue is to prepare notes of frequently asked theory questions from Scanner.

5. Selection of right books—Another basic point for good preparation is the selection of right reference books. So take help from your seniors in choosing right books.

6. Good presentation of theory— Lack of good presentation especially in theory paper is one of the major drawbacks for most of the students. In theory subjects good presentation of theory is must along with mentioning case laws and sections etc. So I’d request you all to take note of the same.
