ICWAI is not student friendly .....the babus sitting in their offices are very rude they dont answer anything

you have to submit before 5 june to be eligible for dec 2011 exams

rest of your queries even i am facing the same problems

i request people to help us out

 Have you purchased the Prospectus?

The above questions would be answered in the Prospectus. The first step is to buy the prospectus.

thank you very much i did it.

I did but i have small doubt I made two DDs one is Rs. 8500 " the institute of cast and works accountants india "  and one more is Rs. 1200 as same name both i sent Chennai Address is it oky ?

If there's a centre then it would be accepted however i am not sure about the amount, because when i asked the icwai officials at NEW DELHI office they tole me Registration Fee and Postal Coaching Draft needs to be submit togther and Article Registration Fees separately, remaining can be paid in cash..

Do you know how to get exmption for Computer Training ?. I did PGDCA & Accounting Packages from one of Institute but i don't know which institute ''ll get exmption from ICWAI . can u pls ?

The Following Statements Are From ICWAI Prospecuts (For Informational Purpose Only)

A student having passed Bachelor of Engineering, Post Graduation in Computer Science or Coputer Application, MBA Systems) or PGDCA, MCA from Indian Institute of Management or a recognized University/Institute, 'a' level Certificate Course of DOEACC or equivalent examination may be exempted from Compulsory Computer Training on application to Director of Studies (at least 60 days prior to the start of the examination) with proff of qualification and Computer training exemption fees of Rs. 1000/- thourgh a Demand Draft drawn on any scheduled bank in favour of ICWAI payable at KOLKATA.

Since you have done PGDCA, you will be entitled to get exemption, so you should submit the Certificate of Qualification with the requisite Demand Draft of Rs 1000 with ICWAI and avail this benefit.

First of all, I want to say that in Kolkata the babus are very much friendly, they are very helpfull, even CA babus are not friendly like them.

I had registered for Icwai today in Kolkata for postal.

I had submitted one DD of Rs 8500 ( 500+1000+7000)

and the balance in cash deposited in nearby State Bank of India, that is Rs 7200 (6000+1200)
