If you don't attempt any question then no marks will be deducted , the marks(0.25) can be deducted only if your answer is wrong.
It's just like that if you don't attempt maths section which is of 50 marks then nothing in those 50 will be given and no extra deduction of marks will be made.

hey man.. don't worry.. negative marking is done for wrong answer if you dont touch any question at all there would be no extra mark cut except for the question you left.. take my advice if you are not sure about the math leave it but do not leave it completely do some statistical part as it will help you in mafa in final.. i have also cleared my CPT in May'07 without attempting math.. i prepared well for remainning three subjects.. i just attempted for 140 marks and got 122 out of it.. in CPT you can go for selective study but at ipcc and final level you have to be thorough.

Dear Vaibhav,
I managed to Clear CPT Without attepmting Math, You will have Negative Marks Only if u r Answer Quetions Wrongly...
So its advisable not to touch Math
Give 100% Concentration to A/c , Law & Economics.
