My name is suresh shrinivasan and residing at erode. Last nov 2009 i have got exemption in advanced auditing. I am giving you few suggesstions for preparations.
1. Take g.sekar book and read throughly.
2. Through acccounting and auditing standards.
3. Read compilation thrice before exam.
4. presentation part is very important. Suppose one question asked about related party disclosure . The answer is as per AS AND AUDITING STANDARDS you must write explanation and then you go for casestudy.

Hello,
As per my suggestion arrange a good book of Auditing (go for Paduka). Prepare this book along with reference from study material as reference from study is very necessary.
Accounting standards are very imp for Audit paper. Understand the AS from the audit point of view. Do not change your notes again and again.
Workout on your presentation and writing skills as the same are very imp in audit.
Find attached herewith my handout for company audit.
