Hi Guys,

Let me take this opportunity to introduce myself. Well, I am Sunny, student of CA Final. Currently i am undergoing Industrial Training from GE Energy and i will be sitting in Final exams in November'2012.

Now, given the current condition of jobs for CA's in Indian Economy, i am very much concerned about getting a job after completing CA and that too in something related to Stock Markets (Like Mutual Funds, Proprietary Trading Group, Investment Banks etc.).

So, Please help me by suggesting some of the good companies which hire CA Freshers and i can prepare accordingly to get into those companies.

Axis Risk consulting and Credit Suisse (reputed) had come for Campus placement in Feb mar 12. Other than these JP MORGAN CHASE, GOLDMAN SACHS, BARCLAYS CAPITAL, INDIA BULLS, HSBC are very good....

But as far as i know, Axis Risk Consultancy is predominantly into Internal Audit. No Idea about profile offered by Credit Suisse.

Also, other names as suggested by you are there but my question was that do they hire CA freshers through Campus Placement or by Portals ???

I think the other companies hire freshers very rarely.....its only off campus or experienced CAs...Further if u hav the tag of Big 4s u can easily get into these.....

Ok. So It means that for me its very difficult to enter that as i dont have Big 4 Tag nor i have any contacts there.

Anyways can you please tell me the profile offered by credit Suisse for CA's?

Sunny, if you think you are capable of making fortune you should pursue double profession. Why make money from stock market to others when you can make make for youself from it?
Well, if you want to learn and excel then you can obviously explore, there are hundreds of such investment firms in India, I believe.
I mean to say you can work into stocks on your leisure time and parallelly invest useful time into another job.

You should create wealth for yourself and pursue another job if you desire, but for e.g. my dad doesn't really need a second job. Stock markets have the potential to generate enough returns for you.
