As part of the mandate given to C-DAC to generate manpower to address the growing demand for trained manpower in the extremely fast moving sector of Information Technology, C-DAC established its Advanced Computing Training School (ACTS). C-DAC, currently offers a variety of course options in Software technologies, Enterprise System Management (ESM), Geomatics, VLSI designs, Digital Multimedia, and the Programme for Advancing Computer Education - PACE. The PACE programme seeks to impart training in the language of the respective state.

These courses are offered by the following groups of C-DAC:

	Advanced Computing Training School (ACTS) C-DAC's Advanced Computing Training School (ACTS) imparts quality training in high-end technologies to existing and prospective users of advanced computing. Today, ACTS offers a range of basic and advanced courses spanning a wide spectrum in the field of Information Technology.
	C-DAC School of Avanced Computing, Mauritius (C-SAC) The Centre For Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) and the University of Mauritius have joined hands to set up the C-SAC (C-DAC School of Advanced Computing). Given the research and academic background of C-DAC and University of Mauritius, it has been decided that C-SAC will be set up and operated by C-DAC with full academic recognition and participation from the University of Mauritius.
	GIST - Programme for Advancing Computer Education (PACE) With the objective of proliferating the use of Indian languages on computers, C-DAC evolved the Programme for Advancing Computer Education (PACE) in January 1996. This programme seeks to impart training in the language of the respective state.

	COURSE OFFERED THROUGH C-DAC HYDERABAD:
	Advanced Course in Bioinformatics (ACB) The main objective of this course is to provide an insight into the value of rapid access to scientific information for education and research purposes. This course is jointly offered by C-DAC & IICT.
	Certificate Course in Digital and Analog VLSI Design (CDAD) C-DAC and JNT University has launched a Certificate Course in Digital and Analog VLSI Design (CDAD) with emphasis on Digital and Analog CMOS circuit design, VLSI design flows, Verification and Testing. This course is effective in providing potential engineers with exposure to both front-end and back-end processes in VLSI Design. This course is jointly offered by C-DAC & JNT University.
	Certificate Course on Networking & System Security (CNSS) In today's highly networked environment, securing the organization's information is of paramount importance by providing confidentiality, Integrity and availability to the computer systems and networks. This course is jointly offered by C-DAC & JNT University.
	Diploma in System Software Development (DSSD) C-DAC has taken up the challenge to address the need for trained system software development professionals by introducing an in-depth course Diploma in System Software Development (DSSD) giving emphasis to secure software design & implementation practices as per the Industry needs.
	Diploma in Embedded Systems Design (DESD) Realizing the growth of embedded systems in day-to-day life and the need for trained manpower in this promising area, C-DAC has launched a Diploma in Embedded Systems Design (DESD) for Engineers in computers, electronics and IT. C-DAC has designed the Diploma giving equal emphasis to hardware and software, enabling engineers to design, develop and excel in state-of-the-art embedded systems.
	Diploma in Advanced Business Computing (D-ABC) The aim of Advanced Business Computing (D-ABC) is to develop a certified software development professional (possessing practical skills) from C-DAC, who would become a readily available resource to develop application level software with business intelligence. It exposes the professionals to network computing, web services, platform independent computing, software quality and testing.
