Dear All,
I know service tax was applicable on health services. But i just want to know the recent changes on healt services, whether hospitals has to charges service tax or not. i.e as on April 2011.

From 1 st may 2011 service tax on health services has discontinued . Till 30 th april 2011 service tax will be charged by the hospital.
Service tax on health services provided by hospitals stands abolished w.e.f.01-05-2011.
