If the hospital that you're admitted in does not fall under the network of hospitals covered under your health insurance plan, then your claims will be settled on a reimbursement basis. This means that you will have to settle the hospital bills first and then your insurance company will reimburse the amount to you. Also, if you're hispitalized in a network hospital, then you can avail the cashless facility offered by your insurer.
